Diagnostic Software Can Test Functionality of Clinical Instruments

A diagnostic tool can communicate with a clinical instrument on a software level to test its functionality. Developed for use with a PC, Apple iPad, or Android-based device, the FingerTip can be used during instrument development as well as for servicing and maintaining an instrument already in operation. The application queries the instrument for available functions and parameters to control and retrieves that information to allow the operator to make function calls to any object. This enables comprehensive testing and debugging of instruments in development and calibration and maintenance of instruments in use.
