R&D and Testing Expert Joins MD&DI Editorial Board

The staff of MD&DI is pleased to announce the addition of Joel R. Gorski, PhD, to the magazine's Editorial Advisory Board. Gorski has nearly 20 years of experience in R&D, testing, materials, and sterilization.

Gorski is director of business development at North American Science Associates Inc. (NAMSA; Northwood, OH), a company that specializes in the safety evaluation of medical devices. “I oversee the R&D process and lead the prioritization and development of new tests and sterilization assurance products,” Gorski says. He also coordinates the company's scientific advisory committee.

Gorski cochairs two AAMI working groups and is a member expert to the International Organization for Standardization for the biological and chemical indicator working groups. Gorski also belongs to ASTM International and the Society of Toxicology.
