Parylene coating supplier Specialty Coating Systems (SCS) has opened its newest facility in Heredia, Costa Rica. The 8000-sq-ft office is located in the Global Park Free Zone and provides full services to international companies. “We are pleased to be able to expand to meet the needs of our current customers and position the company for future growth,” says Terry Bush, SCS chief operating officer. “SCS's location in Costa Rica enables us to better serve our worldwide markets.” The Costa Rica office is SCS's 10th location worldwide. SCS provides parylene conformal coating services, systems, and materials. It has nearly 35 years of application experience and expertise in the medical device industry. Facilities are located throughout North and South America, Europe, and Asia. It is headquartered in Indianapolis.
