Singapore Polymer Corp., a Teknor Apex (Pawtucket, RI) company, has opened three new representative offices in China. The facilities are located in Beijing, Shanghai, and Hong Kong. The company cites growth in these geographic areas as well as the need for thermoplastic compounds for medical devices.
“We became part of Teknor Apex four years ago,” says Cheah Sin Hua, managing director of Singapore Polymer. “We now have the capability to produce the full slate of compounds developed in the United States by Teknor. And we are listed as compliant [with] globally recognized standards bodies and regulatory agents.”
The company has also created a Chinese-language Web site to better serve its customers. Singapore Polymer operates compounding facilities in Singapore and maintains sales offices in Beijing, Shanghai, and Hong Kong. Teknor is a global materials supplier.
