The site offers industry news updates, rapid prototyping service directories, research programs, and a forum section. . . . Polymer Technology Group (PTG; Berkeley, CA; www.polymertech.com), which designs and manufactures specialty materials for medical devices, has been acquired by DSM NV (Heerlen, Netherlands; www.dsm.com), a life and materials sciences company. Operations and contacts for DSM Polymer Technology Group remain unchanged. . . . Circle Medical Devices LLC (Los Gatos, CA; www.circlemed.net) is expanding its headquarters to 28,000 sq ft. The additional 4000 sq ft of space will include a Class 10,000 cleanroom and expanded electronics, mechanical, and quality engineering capabilities.
