The company manufactures ceramic components and analytical equipment for the medical device industry. . . . New England Precision Grinding Inc. (NEPG; Holliston, MA; www.nepg1.com), a manufacturer of wire and tubing products, has acquired American Medical Instruments Inc. (Dartmouth, MA; www.amiinc.com). The company, which manufactures devices such as spinal needles and orthopedic wires, will become a wholly owned subsidiary of NEPG and will continue to operate out of its Dartmouth facility. . . .
