Cutting Tools Enhanced with Nickel-Based Coating

A line of cutting tools is enhanced with the addition of a nickel-based coating. Featuring a surface hardness approaching 700 HV, the Turbo Mill tools can slot, ramp, contour, plunge, pocket-mill, and perform both circular and helical interpolation. They come in a choice of 13 carbide grades, three PCD-tipped grades, and five geometries suited for a variety of materials, including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, hardened materials, high-temperature alloys, and nonferrous materials. Their inserts feature an optimized edge, advanced helix angle, large wiper flat, and a strong, highly positive rake angle to maximize productivity. The tools are available in versions with diameters that range from 0.375 to 1.5 in.; 0.5 to 3 in.; 0.75 to 10 in.; and 1.0 to 10 in.
