MD&M West Welcomed Medtech Community Back to Anaheim

MD&M West, part of Informa Markets Engineering West, hosted thousands of attendees at the Anaheim Convention Center August 10-12 for conferences, networking, exhibitions, and more. Informa Markets Engineering West featured established event brands MD&M West, WestPack, Automation Technology Expo (ATX) West, Plastec West, and Design & Manufacturing (D&M) West.

Avishek Mishra, regulatory affairs specialist at Medtronic and distinguished conference speaker and attendee, remarked: "This is what we had all been waiting for since February of 2020, and the conference has delivered. The venue, exhibit halls, food trucks, and most importantly the people, created such a wonderful environment for us to meet, network, and share ideas. I had the opportunity to present on a topic I am passionate about, and the response was overwhelming. Patient experiences matter, and as a service industry, healthcare has a long way to go compared to others."

The event has served the advanced design and manufacturing community in Anaheim for more than 30 years. Commenting on the safe return of the event to the Southern California region and its positive economic impact on the local community, Junior Tauvaa, Chief Sales Officer, Visit Anaheim, said: "We thank Informa Markets Engineering West for their successful return to the Anaheim Convention Center. To foster continued audience community, Informa today announced West+, a virtual encore to the live event held in Anaheim, scheduled for September 13 through October 13. West+ is a dedicated virtual conference and exhibition that provides the live event's more than 1,000 exhibitors and thousands of attendees spanning the medical technology, device manufacturing, surgical robotics, and packaging sectors a continuation of their experience onsite, Informa shared.

Explained Magestro: "What shone through at the live event was the bottled-up need for industry connection and deal-making, which we are thrilled to support with the introduction of West+. The virtual event will serve as a digital component that complements the in-person event and provides our community even more opportunity to network, learn, and grow their business."
