Qosina, a global supplier of OEM single-use components, recently announced a partnership with ILC Dover to ensure assurance of supply of their single-use bioprocess systems. ILC Dover said it will do this by “leveraging Qosina’s extensive selection and inventory of bioprocess components, focus on business continuity, consistent quality, change control and corporate social responsibility.” It will secure its component supply by outsourcing supply chain operations to Qosina.

Along with the new partnership, Qosina has also expanded its product portfolio to include ILC Dovers’ liquid single-use chamber bags. The chamber bags are fluid storage and transfer chambers with optimized reliability and quality assurance for upstream and downstream bioprocessing applications.

The bag’s TruFlo port design facilitates optimized edge-seal integrity and superior flow rates, according to the company. Its low-profile design coupled with the internal funnel shape also maximizes product recovery. It is manufactured using medical-grade Renolit 9101 film, which provides clarity, flexibility, and strength while also offering resistance to a wide range of chemicals.

With a stable temperature range of -45°C to 60°C, product configurations go from 50 ml to 50 liters in a 2- and 3-port design. Smaller sizes include a robust hanging gromet for improved handling and reinforced handles for larger sizes.
