Beacon MedTech Solutions, formerly Built Rite-Reliance and LSR Engineering, has appointed Michael McGee as president. McGee, a medical contract manufacturing veteran, brings to this position more than 25 years of senior leadership experience. 

Beacon MedTech Solutions offers customized engineered solutions to the medical, bio-pharma, and life sciences markets. It focuses on single-use technologies (SUT), liquid silicone rubber (LSR) molded components, and Class II medical devices. The company is part of Beacon Manufacturing Group, an engineering and innovation hub offering engineered and precision molded products, assembled components, and contract manufacturing services.

McGee previously served as general manager of the precision medical components businesses for Nordson Medical, a global expert in the design, development, and manufacture of complex medical devices and component technologies. He had also served as corporate director of technology and R&D for Nypro Inc., now Jabil Healthcare.

McGee received his B.A. from Worcester State University, a master’s from Harvard University, and served in the United States Marine Corps.
