Tube Forming and Swaging

Custom tubular components of aluminum, stainless steel, and other types of metal, including various grades of brass and copper, can be swaged and formed into configurations that address medical product design challenges. The ISO 9001:2000–certified tube forming and specialty swaging service provider specializes in changing metal tubes into shapes that fulfill application requirements. Bulge, bullet-point, consistent-wall, end-reduced, flattened, swaged, and tapered tubular components are produced, as well as tubes with radiused inner or outside diameters. Both standard and proprietary processes are employed to perform end forming transitioning from round to square cross section, tapering, expanding, reducing, reshaping, flaring, beading, and weldless assembly. The company can produce tubes that have heavy or thin walls, mating components, slip-fits, and reinforced tubes-within-tubes. Comprehensive secondary capabilities include splining, drilling, punching, machining, and finishing.
