Interface introduced a balloon forming machine at MD&M West

Capable of yielding accurate and repeatable results, a balloon-forming machine can produce balloons ranging in diameters and lengths from 0.5 to 50 Ã-- 0.5 to 250 mm. Manufactured by Interface (Laguna Niguel, CA), a company specializing in balloon catheter development, the BFM-3310 system can form a variety of shapes, including cylinders, spheres, ovals, cones, and tapers. The computer-controlled system is designed with quick-release brackets for rapid exchange of water jackets; Ethernet and USB port access; storage capacity for more than 900 programmable balloon specifications; heater current and water tank temperature monitors; and top-panel access to circuit breakers and service panel access to the pressure controller for easy calibration.
