A lot has changed since the first issue of MD+DI came off the presses back in 1979. Our covers aren't hand drawn on paper anymore, and we now have a Web site and e-newsletters in addition to the print publication to keep readers in the know. The industry, too, has changed. Healthcare reform and changing market dynamics are shifting priorities, and technology is advancing at an ever-faster pace.

But some things haven't changed. MD+DI is still the medtech industry's trusted source for news and insights, and our readers keep raising the bar with new devices that save and improve lives. To celebrate 35 years of serving this exciting industry, we're taking a look back at a few of the events that shaped the medtech industry.
