A dedicated mechanical inspection area is one benefit of Millstone's new facility.

Service provider Millstone Medical Outsourcing (Fall River, MA) has announced that it has opened the doors to a second operating facility in Fall River, MA. The addition of the 30,000 sq-ft facility to the company's existing operations at its original Fall River plant and its Memphis, TN–based facility amounts to an estimated 95,000 sq ft of total operating space.Dedicated to advanced inspection and cleanroom operations, the new facility features extensive space reserved for packaging services and an advanced mechanical inspection area equipped with optical comparators, coordinate-measuring machines, vision systems, and microhites. In addition, a 5000 sq-ft Class 10,000 cleanroom will incorporate ultrasonic clean lines within environmentally controlled areas. The company has the ability to remotely monitor the facility's particulate and environmental conditions.“The new facility will dramatically expand our ability to provide quality outsourced services,” says Chris Ramsden, CEO of Millstone Medical Outsourcing. “We have seen increasing demand for sophisticated inspection and cleanroom services.
