A stand-alone motion controller has been designed to control up to eight axes of coordinated motion. Medical device OEMs can use the Ensemble Epaq MR when manufacturing stents, welding pacemakers, and fabricating implantables. The unit is offered in a 3U rack-mount version, with four or eight axes. The integrated PWM or linear amplifiers can control brush, brushless, and stepper motors.

Medical device OEMs can use the Ensemble Epaq MR when manufacturing stents, welding pacemakers, and fabricating implantables. The unit is offered in a 3U rack-mount version, with four or eight axes. The integrated PWM or linear amplifiers can control brush, brushless, and stepper motors. External amplifiers featuring more power can be daisy-chained to the unit with a high-speed serial interface, enabling it to control up to 10 axes.
