A sensor system can provide precision position control for translating screw jack systems. The Nook Sensor System features repeatability of up to ±0.1 mm. It is designed specifically for the company’s ActionJac. A custom aluminum cylindrical stem cover provides a housing shroud for select position and travel limit sensors, which are mounted with custom profiles and used to detect ring magnets fixed to the translating screw.

It is designed specifically for the company’s ActionJac. A custom aluminum cylindrical stem cover provides a housing shroud for select position and travel limit sensors, which are mounted with custom profiles and used to detect ring magnets fixed to the translating screw. An electronic magnetic circuit is the basis of operations for the sensors, which are made using polypropylene over-molded technology.
