Needle Hub Components Available in Various Body Styles

A line of needle hub components can create a customized fluid delivery or withdrawal system. The components consist of a hub connector, bushing, and cap. The polycarbonate hubs are available in round, rectangular, octagonal, and anatomic body styles, each with its own profile and finger grip. Stock sizes include 14-, 15-, and 16-gauge hubs. A universal design can be configured from 17 to 27 gauge with separate PETG bushings. The bushings allow for ID flow conversion without pin changes. Several of the hubs feature a male luer slip that can be converted to a male luer lock with a separate spin lock collar; all can be used as a standard female luer connector for different applications. Caps are color-coded by gauge size and come predrilled for stylet insertion. Nondrilled caps are available upon request.
