MS4425 Series Pressure Sensors From Servoflo

A provider of pressure sensors, humidity sensors, sensor-signal conditioners, and LED drivers for medical applications has released a new series of temperature-compensated, piezoresistive pressure sensors. The MS4425 series is available in pressure ranges from 0–1 psi to 0–300 psi. The gauge and absolute models have a temperature-compensated millivolt output from 0 C to 50 C with ±0.15% of span nonlinearity. The series also has long-term stability of ±0.1 mV. With a dual-in-line package, the MS4425 has 1/8-in. barbed ports, which mate with 3/32-in. ID tubing. The tubes are parallel to the printed circuit board to allow other boards to be located above the sensor. A vertical-mount model (the MS4426) is also available. The MS4425 accepts a 12 V dc supply. Typical applications include medical instruments such as infusion pumps, blood pressure equipment, and deep-vein thrombosis equipment.
