A company that supplies Human Interface Machine (HMI) systems and components manufacturers a stop switch for medical diagnostic equipment. The Series 51 stop switch features a space-saving, monoblock design, a back panel depth of 18.8 mm, and is ideal for non-hazardous and heavy-use applications. The monoblock design, which has tested beyond 100'000 actuations, offers construction that protects the switch from damage caused by heavy-handed use or operator abuse. Using low-level and snap-action switch element technology, the stop switch is suitable for applications across a wide variety of current and voltage ranges. The switch features a versatile array of connections including solder, quick connect and PCB terminals along with a variation of N.O. And N.C. contact configurations. The monoblock construction also allows a compete unit to be specified within one part number. This increases both design and purchasing efficiencies by only requiring the itemization of a single part number within a bill-of-materials purchase order.
