A brushless dc gearmotor with integrated gearbox and electronics offers variable control of speed and torque in medical equipment and laboratory automation applications. Supplied as a compact sealed package, the all-in-one 801-series can operate reliably and with a long life because it has no brushes to wear out. The customizable gearmotors have a power rating of 205 W and torque capability of 120 N•m. Planetary models have a speed range of 7–627 rpm, and right-angle models provide speeds between 44 and 440 rpm. Measuring 57-mm2 and sealed to IP54 as standard, the package fits into space-restricted devices and tolerates harsh environments. A cast-aluminum housing provides durability and robustness.
