A computed tomography system can measure all external and internal workpiece features, even those that are concealed and difficult to reach, quickly and accurately. The noncontact Optiv CT160 features a 160-kV, 15-W microfocus x-ray tube and a fully digital 5-megapixel detector. The x-ray source tube supports reproducible high-precision measurements, while focal spots smaller than 3 µm provide very high image resolution.

The noncontact Optiv CT160 features a 160-kV, 15-W microfocus x-ray tube and a fully digital 5-megapixel detector. The x-ray source tube supports reproducible high-precision measurements, while focal spots smaller than 3 µm provide very high image resolution. The movable detector and workpiece stage facilitate optimization of image quality to enable very high magnification. The system produces images with voxels as small as 0.5 µm.
