Camstar's (Charlotte, NC) Medical Device Suite was selected to manage Gambro BCT's (Lakewood, CO) device history records, ensure process enforcement, and assist in regulatory compliance. The manufacturing execution system will be used at Gambro facilities in the United States and the United Kingdom. The device suite will be integrated into an information technology environment that includes enterprise resource planning, document and maintenance management, and other data collection systems. It will serve as a single storage point for all of Gambro's production data to ensure accuracy of information, facilitate real-time visibility, and benchmark performance. Gambro develops automated blood collection, therapeutic apheresis, and cell therapy systems.
