Benchtop Robot has Compact Footprint

Picture-5.jpgA benchtop robot can perform adhesive dispensing and application tasks on electronic production lines and component assembly. The three-axis Fisnar F4200N features plug-and-play installation, a compact footprint, and robust, heavy-duty cast construction. The robot enables the incorporation of small batch runs and 24-hour-a-day operation into the work cycle. It features continuous path and point-to-point motion, a quick-purge button, a software tip alignment routine, and step-and-repeat functions. Step-by-step intuitive instructions allow a program to be quickly entered and run. It can handle a dispensing area of 200 × 200 × 50 mm and store up to 100 different programs, with up to 4000 points per program at a resolution of 0.001 mm. A 16-channel I/O interface allows for communication with external devices, while a USB connector allows for system updates and program interchange between robots.
