AdvaMed has named Martyn Howgill executive director of its newly formed Institute for Medical Technology Innovation.
Howgill was previously vice president for international business development and chief marketing officer of the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center (Houston).
He will run the day-to-day operations of an entity that will examine the value of advances in medical technology to the economy and the healthcare system. It will commission original research that aims to educate the public about the benefits of medical technology innovation.
