Farmo Res Prima K7 Thermoformer from MG America

A supplier of processing, packaging and assembly machinery, service, and support now offers a blister packaging machine designed specifically for the deep-draw thermoforming of syringes, ampoules, vials, and medical devices. The Farmo Res Prima K7 Thermoformer can run up to 35 cycles per minute and is operated by programmable logic controller (PLC) with transfer on one lane for the production of trays in PET, PVC, and polystyrene. The machine features deep-draw capabilities-----it can form blisters with depths as great as 40 mm-----and gentle handling of fragile products. Other highlights include a new syringe buffer system with a capacity of more than 2000 syringes, a loading station for vials and ampoules, and forming and loading capabilities from the operator side, which the company says results in a more compact forming module and easier changeover procedures.
