A Web site from Bayer Plastics (Pittsburgh) details the company's Fantasia technology for adding color and special effects to engineering thermoplastics. Hosted atwww.bayerfantasia.com, the site includes an interactive gallery that simulates the use of each hue and effect on a three-dimensional sample product. Site users can scroll their mouse over the product to view how the colorizing looks from variousangles.

"The Web site is designed to be an easy-to-use simulation tool that can help product designers find the color or effect that best meets their particular designrequirements," says representative John Skabardonis. "We will use the site to introduce new colors and effects asFantasia's palette continues to expand," he adds.

Other Web site features include a movie that introduces each of the company's five families of colorizing technologies. A news section keeps users abreast of recent corporate developments, and a program fact sheet and FAQ help to answer common questions. For inquiries not covered in these sections, users can submit an on-line contact form. --Z.T.
