L-com Opens Shop in China

L-com Connectivity Products (North Andover, MA) has opened a manufacturing plant in Suzhou, China. The 30,000-sq-ft facility features assembly and molding machines, an expandable office area, and a video-linked conference area for real-time communication between managers. The plant is expected to increase L-com's custom and standard connectivity product capabilities. The company offers custom product manufacturing for medical device components. L-com also recently expanded its manufacturing plant near North Andover, MA. The company designs and manufactures copper and fiber cable assemblies, interconnection adapters, connectors, and cable test equipment. It also distributes products that complement its manufactured products, including Ethernet hubs and switches, routers, protocol convertors, video distribution amplifiers, and network test equipment.
