Medical Murray Expands Molding Services

Medical Murray (North Barrington, IL) has added an electric-drive molding machine to broaden its small-part molding services. The Sumitomo SE7M is a micromolding machine that will complement the company's nano­molding equipment. With the addition of the machine, the firm's part molding can range from 0.0001 to 5.6 cm3, and shot sizes range from 0.01 to 5.6 g. The company provides design and development services for new or improved medical devices from concept to production. It also specializes in the insert molding of multiple-polymer components and integrated radiographic markers.
