Detecting a Single Virus in Urine

Another potential research avenue involving Zika detection involves work being done at the University of Texas at Austin. The Texas researchers have come up with a test that can rapidly detect a single virus in urine. 

Their technique presently works on only a single virus, but the researchers think it could be adapted to detect many types of viruses, including Zika.
