10 Must-See Innovations at MD&M West 2017

Bimba’s IntelliSense product line provides real-time monitoring of condition and performance of pneumatic actuators. It collects 2002 data points per second from a pair of sensors monitoring the airlines attached to a pneumatic actuator. The IntelliSense Sensor Interface Module (SIM) analyzes that data and provides the user with a comprehensive view of the actuator’s performance. When a parameter that may impact production speed, product quality, or machine up-time is outside set limits, the SIM will generate an alert. When an alert is triggered, the IntelliSense Data Gateway will log the current performance of the cylinder and send an email to select users, informing them of the issue. IntelliSense Data Gateways also have over 100 GB of storage, which records actuator performance data that can be exported and stored to verify good product was produced.
