Two syringes at a time can be filled in as little as two seconds with a benchtop syringe filler. The Model 1100 fills materials through the tip of a syringe so that the syringe’s plunger can remain intact throughout the process, eliminating air pockets and material stringing and increasing accuracy. The system utilizes adjustable-level dual photo sensors that automatically detect when the plungers are in the full position and shut off the filling cycle. The syringe grippers then open, releasing the syringes from the filling ports. This setup prevents spill-over and also increases accuracy. The system features the company’s disposable fluid path technology, which allows for contaminate-free packaging and swift material changeover, with minimal downtime and cleanup.
