Serene lubricious coatings for endovascular medical devices are engineered to deliver lubricity and durability while minimizing particulate generation. These hydrophilic coatings have been optimized by SurModics Inc. to be suitable with a range of catheter substrates and are being used on FDA-cleared coronary and peripheral devices.
