Overall, employment at the largest medtech companies has increased, but some companies are cutting workforce through divestment, such as Alere. Which other companies reduced headcout in 2014?

While employment at the llargest device companies are on an upward trajectory, there are some companies that have seen their headcounts fall in 2014.
A recent analysis by Evaluate MedTech, the publishing arm of market intelligence firm Evaluate, found that while the mega mergers helped boost headcount numbers, some companies shed businesses and thereby reduced their workforce.
According to that report, the biggest loser by number of staff cut was Alere, which trimmed its headcount levels by a whopping 7.800 when it divested some business units in a bid to turn itself around.
But which were the other companies has seen workforce reductions in 2014?
