Rubio touts free market ideas.

Junior Florida senator Rubio's plans to overturn Obamacare include replacing the legislation with a free market alternative, insisting that driving competition in the healthcare marketplace will help keep costs down.

His campaign website describes Obamacare as a "failed law" and indicates that a full repeal would "be an urgent priority of his administration."

In addition, he has minced no words when it comes to the 2.3% medical device excise tax, which is presently suspended for two years. Rubio describes the tax as "job-killing."

Rubio's stance towards Medicare, however, has been supportive, and he has expressed his support for protecting both the Medicare and Medicare Advantage programs.
