Former Congressional Staffer to Direct AdvaMed’s Government Affairs
NEWS TRENDS AdvaMed has named Brett Loper as senior executive vice president and director of its government affairs department. Loper will be in charge of aiding AdvaMed's advocacy work at the federal and state levels.He brings significant management and leadership knowledge from his time as minority staff director for the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Waysand Means.

Loper's experience with policy and legislative affairs will be a key part of AdvaMed's healthcare reform work, including ensuring patient access to technology.
Prior to heading the association's bipartisan government affairs team, Loper served as deputy chief of staff for the House majority leader's office and as deputy associate director for legislative affairs at the Office of Management and Budget.
