Pittsburgh, PA-based Accel Diagnostics is developing pScreen, a platform that aims to bring diagnostics out of the lab and into the home or doctor's office. The device, which is not yet FDA approved, allows users to capture a drop of blood on a single-use device that's as thin as a credit card and get results in less than 20 minutes. A companion app lets them share the results with healthcare providers.
