Imagine if a physician in a remote village could quickly cross-reference patient symptoms and attributes using a database containing millions of data points to help determine the best tailored treatment option. In the same vein, that physician could also receive a real-time alert of an impending H1N1 flu outbreak in the area through meaningful data analytics.
