Wireless technology has truly transformed healthcare, removing the spaghetti of cables that used to entangle hospital patients and enabling everything from remote monitoring to connectivity among multiple devices.
We can likely expect more innovation in this area, too. Valued at $23.8 billion last year, the global wireless health market is expected to more than double, to $59.7 billion, by 2018, according to a recent report by Research and Markets.
