Stryker recently announced it is expanding its foot and ankle portfolio with the addition of the Osteotomy Truss System (OTS) and Ankle Truss System (ATS), which were acquired from 4WEB Medical.

The ATS includes Arthrosphere and Arthrocube implants and is designed to restore limb length while providing structural integrity during tibiotalocalcaneal fusions. Additionally, it features Truss Implant Technology in order to offer structural support and promote fusion. The system is cleared for use with the company’s T2 Ankle Arthrodesis Nail or Valor Hindfoot Fusion Nail and will be available in three different shapes. ATS will debut at an upcoming conference in September and will be available in the coming months, according to Stryker.

Currently available for use, the OTS is made of cotton, evans, and utility wedges, and is indicated for internal bone fixation and osteotomies in the foot and ankle.

“The addition of the ATS and the integration of Artelon reflects our commitment to providing surgeons with enhanced orthopaedic solutions to achieve the best possible patient outcomes,” said Michael Rankin, vice president of marketing and medical education of Stryker’s Foot & Ankle business, in the press release. “We will never stop our dedication to advancing our offerings to meet the evolving needs of our customers for all foot and ankle procedures.
