Reinforcing the notion that the Twin Cities area is a hub for the device industry, Coloplast announced it will transfer its U.S. headquarters to Minneapolis after acquiring Mentor's urology division, the Minneapolis Star-Tribune reports. The Danish company cited the state's strong medical technology and research base, as well as the talent pool available in the region. The move will bring 300 jobs to the area and could bring more in the future.
