Merit Medical Creates Luck for the Irish
Merit Medical is creating 100 new jobs in Galway, Ireland, (a hub for medical device activity) as part of its plant expansion. The company, which manufactures guidewires and inflation devices, has had a presence in Galway since 1994. Ireland's minister for enterprise, trade, and innovation, Batt O’Keeffe, called the firm's investment "significant" for Ireland’s life science sector.
