Eye-Care Companies Looking Good

Eye-care product companies such as Alcon Inc., Allergan Inc., and Cooper Cos. should see strong growth in the coming years, thanks to aging populations and expansion into China and India, says an analyst.

Amit Bhalla of Citi Investment Research wrote in a note to investors that "the outperformance of the ophthalmology sector compared to the overall market is largely the result of robust market fundamentals that support long-term growth for the more diversified players in the space. These favorable trends are still at play," he said.
