An investment firm with a stake in Datascope (Montvale, NJ) has launched a proxy war in hopes of ousting some of its directors, reports njbiz.com. Raimus Capital Group LLC sent a letter to Datascope shareholders urging them to replace two of the firm's directors with nominees selected by Raimus. Raimus accuses Datascope founder and CEO Lawrence Saper of ethical lapses and says the resignations of five executives since March is an indication of management instability.
