Resonetics LLC has announced that it will relocate in spring 2011 from its current Nashua, NH, facility to a significantly larger facility a short distance away. The new facility has a 50% larger footprint than the current space, much of which will be allocated to the manufacture of medical device components and to related services. The company also plans to double again by 2012 and has reserved surrounding space to ensure expansion.

"It is especially rewarding to our employees that Resonetics is experiencing significant growth opportunities in the medical device market," president Cliff Gabay states. "Over the last few years, our company has executed the strategic plan to focus on medical device components and system business, as well as exploding opportunities in diabetes and diagnostics, to name a few. The net result is that we are overflowing in our current facility, and we look forward to the new facility to continue executing our exciting growth plans."

Resonetics says that it is the largest total solution provider of laser micromachining products and services in the world. It is claims to have the largest independent polymer laser micromachining facility, which contains more than 50 UV-based laser micromachining systems and three cleanrooms.
