The 45,000 sq–ft location will manufacture healthcare products including single-use disposable devices, connectors, valve assemblies, sharps, and drug-delivery systems and their components. Plans call for the facility to feature 24 electric injection molding machines and an ISO Class 8 cleanroom, as well as a tool shop for maintaining, repairing, and altering production molds.

The facility will provide multiple material molding services and offer sonic welding. Production molding began at the site in June, and MGS Mfg. Group anticipates that the facility will achieve ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 13485 certifications in the fourth quarter of 2011.

The strategic location of the site will help to improve time to market for customers serving Ireland, the United Kingdom, and Western Europe, according to a press release.
