Contract manufacturer Vesta Inc. (Franklin, WI) has completed a 50,000-sq-ft expansion at its Wisconsin manufacturing plant dedicated to the manufacture and assembly of silicone-based medical device components. The company has also consolidated its thermoplastic extrusion facilities in Placentia and Temecula, California, into a new manufacturing facility in Corona, California, to support the ExtruMed division.

ATW Companies (Warwick, RI), a provider of custom-manufactured metal components and services, has announced the grand opening of Parmatech-Proform Corp.'s new manufacturing facility in East Providence, Rhode Island. The company focuses on metal injection molding (MIM) and secondary MIM operations, and has capabilities that include waveguide tubing, machined parts, sidewall frames, medical components, precision metal tubing, and stamped metal parts.

Dymax Corp. is now registered to the 2008 revision of the ISO 9001 quality management system standard. The company manufactures adhesives, coatings, epoxies, masking resins, and light-curing systems.

A value-added storehouse for a range of ceramic substrates from such suppliers as Coorstek, CeramTec, and Kyocera, Laser Services (Westford, MA) has expanded its capabilities in both ceramic materials inventory and its related laser-based machining services. Laser machining capabilities include cutting, marking, and welding, among other operations.
