Plasma System Speeds Metal- Cutting Operations

System offers dross-free cut quality

A high-temperature plasma metal-cutting system combines three technologies to form one robust mechanized system. According to its maker, Hypertherm (Hanover, NH), Hyperformance Plasma provides virtually dross-free cut quality, but does so with greater speed and up to two times longer consumable life than other technologies. The cut quality is consistent across a full range of plate thickness.

Fasteners Offer Precision Performance

Specialized coatings are also available

A broad product line features a wide variety of fasteners, including machine screws, thread cutters, thread formers, and self-drilling screws.
A full range of washers, nuts, and bolts accompanies this line from Alloy Fasteners Inc. (Cranston, RI).

Connectors Have a User-Configurable Design

The assembly can be mounted from either the inside or outside of the case

High-reliability circular connectors are color coded, customer keyable, and are available in sealed or shielded configurations. Hypertronics Corp. (Hudson, MA) offers the HyperGrip connectors, which supply a recognizable system for accurate and quick connections on medical equipment.
