Nordson Medical, a global integrated solutions partner for the design, engineering, and manufacturing of medical devices and components, has announced the official opening of its Tecate, Mexico, Medical Device Manufacturing Center of Excellence. The facility is 58,000 sq ft and FDA-registered. Within the center, it also features ISO 8 cleanrooms. The company initiated production at the Mexico facility at the beginning of 2022 and, according to Nordson, has the capacity for further customer growth.

"Expanding the capability of Nordson MEDICAL with the addition of the Tecate Medical Device Manufacturing facility is a key pillar of our strategy to bring differentiated processes and technology along with world class manufacturing to our customers that we will continue to build on in the coming years," said Dave Zgonc, vice president of Nordson MEDICAL Interventional Solutions.
