Miniature Connectors
Miniature interconnects with a 0.025-in. pitch are available in standard and custom designs and in a variety of shapes. The products supplied by Cristek Interconnects Inc. (Anaheim, CA) have passed intensive stress, corrosion, and vibration tests. They are suited for use in implantable devices and medical instrumentation.
Porous Plastic Media
Porous plastic media in roll and sheet form and in a wide range of moldings is now supplied directly to the U.S. market. Previously, Vyon rolls and sheets, fabrications, and plastic moldings were only available through the U.K. offices of Porvair Advanced Materials (Hendersonville, NC).
Two-Component Epoxy
Dual packaging ensures that a two-component epoxy adhesive is precisely measured and mixed. Developed by Permabond (Englewood, NJ), the adhesive cures at room temperature and is suited for joining catheters and similar plastic devices.
