Molding Services

mack.jpgSpecializing in custom injection molding, a company uses its partitioned cell for molding medical products. The cell is designed to protect products from dust and debris during molding operations. Used primarily for low-volume multicolor product runs that require frequent and quick resin and tool changes, the molding cell includes four hydraulic presses and one electric press that offer 40 to 100 tn of clamp force. Using positive differential pressure and HEPA filters, the fully enclosed cell removes particulates from the air to provide a protective barrier for molding medical products. In addition to molding disposables and products for orthopedic trials, the cell also accommodates insert molding and computer-controlled laser engraving for lot control traceability.
